| Day 1 : |
Leave Cairo and head east to cross the Suez Canal into Sinai Peninsula, the land of the turquoise gems. We stop at Eyoun Mousa for a while then continue our journey cutting through the desert valleys and canyons to reach Sarabit El-Khadem the only pharaonic site in Sinai. The energetic ones will climb the mountain to reach the temple and the others can enjoy the stillness of the desert till the barbecue is ready. Camp overnight. |
| Day 2 : |
After an early morning breakfast we continue our excursion towards Gebel El Tih until we reach Wadi El-Sih. Winding through the valley and exploring some bedouin settlements is not the only thrill of the day, but the turquoise mine of Gebel El-Maghara will be the exciting bit. If you are clever and lucky you will find bits of turquoise scattered around. After lunch we continue to go through Wadi Mekateb to explore the different inscriptions and drawings on the walls of the mountains some of which go back to 9000 years. Camp overnight. |
| Day 3 : |
Proceeding through desert we reach the road which will take us to Dahab, passing through Wadi Feiran and St. Catherine, where we will have lunch. Not loosing too much time we will head to Whitchita falls north of Sharm El-Sheikh where we will have our first dive. Dinner and camping by the sea side. |
| Day 4 : |
A morning dive at Ras Nusrani followed by an afternoon dive in Whitchita falls will make this day one of the unforgettable ones. Dinner and camping in the same lovely spot. For those who would like to spend their evening in Sharm El-Sheikh we will provide a lift to go and back at a one agreed upon time. |
| Day 5 : |
For those who can make it, an early morning dive will be the start of their good morning. We then pack and leave to Ras Mohamed where we will have one dive and lunch. Then return back to Cairo with lots of exciting things to tell and remember. |
